I work for a large EDA company in Silicn Valley. From December 2002 to
January 2005, I worked at Xpedion Design
Systems, Inc., a private
company in Milpitas. My previous
employer was Antrim Design Systems, Inc., in Scotts Valley,
where I worked on ourVerilog-A/MS simulation
tool. I was with Antrim from January, 1998 until its liquidationg in November, 2002 (the assets of
Antrim were bought by Cadence Design Systems). Prior to that, I worked for Synopsys in
Sunnyvale, on VSS (now part of VCS).
Education
In 1995, I graduated with my Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz (the department, and degree, is now called "Computer Science"). My areas of interest included operating systems and compiler code generation. My academic advisor was Dr. Darrell Long. I also received my Bachelor of Arts in CIS from UCSC in June of 1993.
While at UCSC, I worked on the REINAS project. This is the project that has led to, among other things, the creation of the SlugVideo Home Page.
